The number one ranked super featherweight contender Miguel 'Micky' Roman will stay busy, as he plans to fight on February 10 at the Josué Nery Santos Municipal Gymnasium in Ciudad Juárez, Chihuahua in Mexico.

Roman became the mandatory challenger last December, after pulling off an upset knockout victory over Orlando Salido.

The fight with Salido was a big upset, as the veteran was in line for mandatory shot at Berchelt. After the win, Roman submitted an appeal to the World Boxing Council to replace Salido as the mandatory challenger and the sanctioning body approved his request a few weeks ago.

Also, the fight with Salido was highly considered to be the Fight of The Year for 2017, but it passed over in favor of the tremendous heavyweight bout between Anthony Joshua and Wladimir Klitschko.

Roman will now face experienced Colombian contender Aristides Perez in the main event of the card, and he will stake the international title of the World Boxing Council endorses.

Perez fought in a grueling bout, but was ultimately stopped, by Orlando Salido in seven rounds last year.

In the co-featured attraction, which is being presented by Promociones del Pueblo with the support of Cavall Sport and Playboy México and the Municipal Government of Ciudad Juárez; local fighter Diana 'La Bonita' Fernandez will look for the WBC International title in a clash against the American contender Noemí 'No-No' Bosques.

Also in a special attraction of the night, fans will see Mexican Olympian Lindolfo Delgado in action. He will risk his undefeated record against an opponent to be announced at a later date. And also local talents Carlos' Rancherito 'Ramírez, Marcos' Papitas' González and Darío' Macizo 'Ferman will be in action.
