Dangerous lightweight puncher Miguel Roman (53-11, 40KOs) has been handed a return date of January 30th.
Roman has built up a 15 fight win streak that dates back to his decision loss to countryman Dante Jardon in their October, 2012 rematch.
During his big streak he secured knockout victories over former champion Daniel Ponce De Leon and Juan Carlos Salgado. Those defeats practically ended the careers of his countrymen.
Roman stay very, very active and entered the ring a total of five times in 2015. He wants to match that activity rate next year.
He had a disqualification victory over Adrian Verdugo in February, a ten round unanimous decision over Edgar Puerta in April, a July knockout of David Martinez, an August knockout of Leonardo Doronio and a third round knockout last month of Samuel Amoako.
Roman is focused on securing a world title shot in 2016.
