WBA junior welterweight king Miguel Cotto in not concerned with trash talking nature of former champion Ricardo Mayorga. Their fight is scheduled for March 12 at the MGM Grand in Las Vegas. Mayorga has often tested the patience of his opponents, including Oscar De La Hoya, Fernando Vargas, Shane Mosley, Vernon Forrest and Felix Trinidad.

"Mayorga has shown on a few different occasions, that most of what he says and does is outside of the ring, and inside [the ring] he's left beaten by his opponents. I guarantee that this will be the next occasion [where Mayorga gets left beaten]," Cotto told Fanaticos [FanHouse Espanol].

If Cotto beats Mayorga in March, then a rematch with Antonio Margarito is a good possibility for June. Margarito stopped Cotto in the eleventh round of their 2008 battle in Las Vegas.

"These are things that are in the pipeline, but there is nothing concrete yet," Cotto said. "As always, I'm looking to face the big names and get wins. That's what we look for as fighters."
