Kissimmee, FL: Former amateur stand out Miguel Alejandro Cruz will make his pro debut under the All Star Boxing, Inc banner as part of the successful series “Boxeo TELEMUNDO Ford” at the Kissimmee Civic Center in Kissimmee, FL, this Friday, December 7.
Cruz, 22, was born in Aguada, Puerto Rico and now resides in the Kissimmee/Orlando area. He had an amateur record of 65-10, won several titles and was a member of Puerto Rico National Team. He will face Andrew Jones of South Carolina in a welterweight bout schedule for 4 rounds.
In the main event Jose "Miau" Nieves (20-2-3-9 KO’s) of Carolina, Puerto Rico ranked #13 WBO will face Glenn "The Rock" Porras (28-3-17 KO’s) of M'lang, Cobato, Philippines, #12 WBO in a bout between ranked contenders schedule for 12 Rounds with a regional WBO Bantamweight title on the line.
In the co-feature former Olympian Yordenis Ugas (12-1-6 KO's) of Santiago, Cuba will face veteran Cosme "Chino" Rivera of Culiacan, Mexico in a Jr.Welterweight bout schedule for 10 rounds.
