As the city of Albertslund is getting ready for the first ever Nordic Fight Night at Musikteatret, the fight card is taking shape. While Patrick Nielsen (20-0, 9 KOs) faces tough Mexican Jose Pinzon (24-5, 15 KOs) in the main event of the evening, his brother Micki will take on Andreas Guenther (13-14-3, 9 KOs) from Germany. The 31-year-old, who rides a seven-fight non-losing streak into the encounter, faces the daunting task of fighting the younger, yet bigger Nielsen brother in front of his home fans. “The atmosphere will be crazy,” Nielsen said. “I know that our fans have already bought a lot of tickets. They have taken up entire blocks. I can´t wait to get into the ring at Musikteatret.”

 

Nielsen has successfully overcome a hand injury. He returned to action in Kolding on October 19, clobbering Sandro Siproshvili in six one-sided rounds. At the age of just 20, Nielsen is now 10-0 with 8 KOs. “It was good to go the distance, it helps to get back into rhythm,” Nielsen said. “I was happy with my performance. I want to continue my winning streak in Albertslund.”
