EBU junior welterweight champion Michele Di Rocco (40-1-1, 18 KOs) continues his streak at Teatro Principe in Milan, Italy. He stopped overmatched Alexandre Lepelley (18-4-1, 3 KOs) of France in eight rounds. Di Rocco has now won 22 fights in a row since losing to Giuseppe Lauri by knockout in seven rounds in 2007. He avenged that loss in a fury, securing a first round stoppage in the rematch in 2012. Di Rocco has continued to rise up through the ranks and should be closing in on a world title opportunity within the next twelve months.
