Los Angeles, CA - Emphatically announcing the start to his 2015 campaign, former world title challenger MICHEL SORO of Rhone, France scored a first round knockout over Hungarian veteran SANDOR MICSKO on Friday night at the Salle Polyvalente Du Ramier in Blagnac, France.
After a brief feeling out period, Soro drilled Micsko with a massive left hook to the head ending the scheduled 10-round junior middleweight clash shortly following the one minute mark as the referee called an immediate halt to the bout.
Said Soro, “My team told me to be dynamic and efficient this year – well there you go. I can’t wait to get back into the ring and continue my march towards a world title.”
Among those cheering on his knockout victory was friend and top rated middleweight challenger HASSAN N’DAM.

With the win, the 27-year-old Soro improved to 24-1-1 (14KO’s) and got back in the win column after a highly disputed ten round draw to Antoine Douglas on July 25th in Verona, New York.
“Our next step for Michel is a fight against a top ten junior middleweight,” said MICHAEL KING of KING SPORTS. “We have a great deal of confidence in him and want him to stay busy in 2015 as we build towards a world championship fight.”
With the loss Micsko fell to 25-8-2 (19KO’s).
