Mountbatten Centre, Portsmouth, Hampshire, United Kingdom - Michael McKinson, a native of Belfast, Nothern Ireland, and a resident of Portsmouth, England, isn't known for his frightening knockout power. Still his semi-crisp shots were enough for his 39-year old opponent Colin Lynes to crumble down in despair rather than pain at 2:50 of the sixth for referee Jeff Hinds to call it off.

Lynes, 39, never got on track against a much younger opponent and was on the receiving end of the youngster's punches from the very first round. McKinson, as his record truly suggests, lacked finishing power but so did Lynes, even in those rare moments he was able to land something of note.

McKinson put a sudden end to the fight with a pair of body shots, which seemed to be off mark but somehow had the veteran down. It looked like Lynes just got nothing left in what seemed (or, at least, should be) the last fight of his illustrious career.

McKinson (now 13-0, 2 KOs) was just 4, when Lynes turned pro in 19981998. Over his career he fought for number of local, regional and continental titles but lost to majority of them. he is now 39-12, 12 KOs.

In a relatively uneventful collision, Lithuanian-based Congolese Paul Kamanga (21-1, 12 KOs) got the better of French import Christopher Sebire (26-10-1, 9 KOs) over ten rounds for a vacant WBC international light welterweight title.

Kamanga, 24, took the start of the fight with his tricky technique and lateral movement. Sebire rocked the Congolese in round five with a left hook but failed to follow up. Still he got the better of Kamanga in the midst of the fight.

After the seventh, however, the Congolese boxer was back on track with rapid yet soft touches, while Sebire was too inactive to help his cause.

The scores were hidden with noise, as the unanimous decision was announced for Kamanga. BoxingScene had it 97-93 - for the Congolese.

In a hard-fought affair, Floyd "Pacman" Moore improved to 15-6-2, 9 KOs, with a hard-fought decision over well-travelled trialhorse Ivan Godor (20-49-4, 6 KOs) of Slovakia.
