Chris Meyer, the Managing Director of Sauerland Event, said Marco Huck (30-1, 23KOs) needs to beat tough fighters like unbeaten Russian boxer Denis Lebedev (21-0, 16KOs) in order to be great. Huck defends his WBO cruiserweight title against Lebedev this Saturday at Max Schmeling Halle in Berlin, Germany.
"If Huck wants to become a great boxer in the cruiserweight division, he must beat fighters such as Denis Lebedev. The advantage for Marco is that he's fighting at home in Berlin, where he has many admirers. Again, it is only in tough fights against difficult opponents where one can achieve greatness," Meyer told Alexander Pavlov.
