Juan Mercedes and David Quijano, who headline the debut of the new televised boxing show - ‘A Puño Limpio’ - are predicting dominating victories on April 1 at the Hector Sola Bezares Coliseum in Caguas, where the WBO's 115-pound Latino title will be on the line.

The event, organized by PR Best Boxing Promotions, will consist of eight fights including an eight round co-feature at 112 pounds between the McWilliams Arroyo, 6-1 with five knockouts, and Dominican Erickson Martell, with a record of 4-2-1 with three knockouts. There is also the debut of former Olympian Jonathan 'La Bomba' Gonzalez, who will fight at 112 pounds against an opponent with the same exact name, Jonathan González.

"I have more experience and I have to take this opportunity to straighten out my career. Between his style and mine, the fight should not reach the distance," said Mercedes, with a record of 24-3 and 17 knockouts.

For his part, Quijano, 13-1, vowed to gain a huge victory.

"I do not care about his experience. He is going down and I'm going to rise. I want that title and I'm going out with the belt around my waist. If he makes a mistake, my fists will end it early," he proclaimed.

Meanwhile, Arroyo and Martell, said they are ready to win by any means but both were in favor of the knockout.

"Martell's style is in line with mine and I know him very well. Between his explosiveness and my punch, it should last the distance," added Arroyo.

"They think I'm going to lose and I'm not. I came to win and I will knock him out. There are many plans with him but I'll take the floor and his promoter will have to deal with me," Martell said.

The rest of the evening, starting at 6 pm, with television starting at 9 pm, will have Hector Marengo (5-1 and four KO's) fighting Luis Joel Gonzalez (5-0-1 and four KO's) over six rounds.
