MGM Grand, Las Vegas, Nevada - BoxingScene.com caught up with strength and conditioning coach Angel "Memo" Heredia who woks with welterweight contender Phil Lo Greco. His fighter will take on Errol Spence in a NBC televised fight on Saturday.
Heredia' most famous fighter, Juan Manuel Marquez, has been out of the ring over a year with a knee injury.
Despite rumors that he will likely retire, Heredia revealed that Marquez will indeed return to the ring this year.
"I talked to him and he said that he wants to do two more fights. One in the U.S. then one farewell fight in Mexico before he retires," Heredia told BoxingScene.com.
There isn't a timetable or an opponent lined up but Heredia confirmed that he will fight in 2015.
