WASHINGTON, PA – Michael Acri Boxing Promotions and Team Freedom, promoters of the boxing card -- “Boxing at The Meadows” -- scheduled for October 6 at The Meadows Race Track, announced today that the event has been postponed.
"Team Sosa has encountered difficulties in obtaining its visas in time for the event," said Michael Acri. "Rather than find a substitute for the main event, we will reschedule the card. We will be announcing details in the near future."
“Boxing at The Meadows” was to have featured two-time world title challenger Victoriano Sosa and Pittsburgh’s own Sugar Ray Narh in separate 10-round lightweight bouts, as well as a ceremony honoring four-time world champion Roberto Duran.
