McWilliams Arroyo will be celebrating his first fight of 2011 on February 5 at the Ruben Rodriguez Coliseum in Bayamon, on a card put together by Puerto Rico Best Boxing. The card is headlined by the return of the former junior lightweight champion of the WBO, Roman "Rocky" Martinez .
Arroyo, 25 and 5-1 with four knockouts, said he hopes that 2011 will be a busy year that will allow him to even get a fight for a regional or global title in the flyweight division.
"We talked with my promoter and hope to find a title fight at the regional or global level. Everything depends on how things arise but it was discussed. In my weight there are fewer fighters and we can go a little faster than my brother McJoe. My goals are to be champion at 112 and then move up in weight to 115 and then 118 pounds," McWilliams said.
