According to Primera Hora, two of the best amateur boxers in Puerto Rico, McWilliams and McJoe Arroyo, have announced that their amateur careers are now over and both of them are planning to go pro in 2010. The Arroyo brothers are only the second set of twin brothers in the history of boxing to qualify for the Olympics.

McWilliams Arroyo, 24, is best known for winning the Gold Medal at flyweight at the 2009 World Amateur Boxing Championships at Assago forum in Milan and in the 2007 PanAmerican games.

McJoe Arroyo, 24, is best known for winning a bronze medal at the 2007 World Amateur Boxing Championships‎ as a bantamweight.
