Puerto Rican amateur stars McJoe and McWilliams Arroyo will officially debut as professionals on the February 27 undercard to Wilfredo Vazquez Jr. vs. Marvin Sonsona at the Ruben Rodriguez Coliseum in Bayamon, Puerto Rico. Promoter Ivan Rivera, president of PR Best Boxing Promotions (PRBBP) signed the Arroyo brothers in early 2010.
"We were working on the debut of the Arroyo brothers and everything has been completed - it will be in Puerto Rico in the Ruben Rodriguez Coliseum on a large event, so they will have a lot of exposure, which is what we want for them," said Rivera. "I was working on the debuts of the Arroyos for February in either the United States or in Puerto Rico but they will officially debut on the undercard in Bayamon.
McJoe will have a four round fight at the max weight of 120 pounds, while McWilliams will take a four rounder at the max weight of 114 pounds. They won several major competitions as amateurs.
