The pride of Derry, Ireland, Paul McCloskey (22-0, 12KOs), is looking for the big fights after making a big defense of his European junior welterweight title with a TKO win over Barry Morrison. McCloskey beat Morrison down for seven rounds before the TKO was handed down. After winning the Euro title on Saturday night, McCloskey feels that he's ready for the world and WBA champion Amir Khan is at the top of the list.
"What's the next move after becoming European champion? It's obviously the world. Amir Khan is one of the big names out there - he's English, I'm Irish, it'd be a great fight for this part of the world. Let's get it on," McCloskey said.
