Amir Khan's most recent opponent, Paul McCloskey, is giving veteran Zab Judah a good shot to upset the British star on July 23 in Las Vegas. Khan and Judah will put up their junior welterweight titles in a "winner takes all" unification bout. In a recent interview, British boxer Junior Witter tipped Judah to come out with his hand raised. McCloskey, like Witter, expects a very tough fight for Khan. Khan defeated McCloskey with a six round techincal decision in April.
“Khan likened Judah to me saying he was a ‘runner’ but if you watch the fight I didn’t run that much. I just stood in the middle of the ring and made Amir miss a little bit so all that crack I didn’t understand. I think Judah is a banana skin for him. People think Judah is past it in boxing terms but he carries a hell of a whack and he’s a good counter-puncher and a very slick fighter,” said McCloskey to Local Bourne.
