Former heavyweight champion Oliver McCall, who was arrested last Thursday night for trespassing on the Tony Sudekum public housing development on University Court, resisting arrest, assaulting police officers, evading arrest, among other charges - has plead guilty in a Nashville courtroom and waived his right to a trial.

The judge sentenced McCall to 30 days in jail, but his attorney him to be released in 10 days.

Police also found a glass pipe and cocaine in McCall's possession. McCall said that he has been battling a drug addiction for 20 years and plans to get his life in order once released from jail.
