Speaking with The Grand Rapids Press, Floyd Mayweather Jr.'s adviser Leonard Ellerbe denied reports that negotiations for a fight with Manny Pacquiao would begin as early as Tuesday of this week. Pacquiao's trainer Freddie Roach told reporters that negotiations would begin this week. Ellerbe says Pacquiao is not even on Mayweather's mind.

Ellerbe told the paper that Mayweather made more money in his last two fights than Pacquiao has made in his entire career. He said Mayweather is still celebrating his dominating win over Shane Mosley and the pay-per-view buyrate of 1.4 million the fight generated.

“Ain’t nobody thinking about Manny Pacquiao, Bob Arum or Freddie Roach,” Ellerbe said.  “Floyd isn’t thinking about none of them, and there ain’t no negotiations starting, period.  Floyd is just coming off a great win.  He’s not thinking about any of them.”

“Who are they negotiating with, themselves? Manny Pacquiao is probably wondering how did Floyd Mayweather make $40 million, and I’m making whatever it was he made for his fight. Floyd Mayweather has definitely made more money in his last two fights than that guy has made in his whole career.”
