WBC welterweight champion Floyd Mayweather Jr. one again voiced his position of not being impressed with the undefeated record of his Dec. 8 opponent, Ricky Hatton. He disregards the 43-0 resume, calling it a mirage because he says Hatton "hasn't fought anyone." Mayweather told the The Mirror if Hatton fought 43 Mayweathers, he would end up with a record of 0-43.

"The only reason Hatton is 43 and zero is because he hasn't fought anyone," Mayweather said. "He hasn't fought 43 Floyd Mayweathers because if he had, he'd be zero and 43."

Later, he slammed Hatton's best wins as being overrated.

"In his last fight he beat Jose Luis Castillo, who was over the hill. I beat Castillo six years ago, when he was in his prime. OK, he beat Kostya Tszyu, but Tszyu had been laid off for a year before that fight, Mayweather said. "When a guy's done that, he's not going to be able to step up to the plate and give it his best. So don't try and scare me with Hatton's 43 and zero record."
