WBC welterweight champ Floyd Mayweather Jr. (38-0, 24KOs) and challenger Ricky Hatton (43-0, 31KOs) continue their war of words in the media. The two collide on Dec. 8 at the MGM Grand in Las Vegas.
According to comments made by Hatton to The Sun, Mayweather began the below the belt insults during their September promotional tour, but in the end they had no effect on him. Mayweather told Hatton that if the two of them were locked up in prison, he would make Hatton his prison bitch.
“I wish I was in prison with you. I’d make you my bitch,” Mayweather said to Hatton.
Mayweather told the paper that Hatton is not on his level, calling him a C class fighter and promised to make him appear like a D class fighter on Dec. 8.
"I have fought my whole life just to pull my mother and family out of the ghetto. I came into this sport to be the best ever and have given my whole life to prove there isn't another fighter better than me," Mayweather said. "People like Hatton are C class fighters compared to me but I make them look a class lower - D Class. "Hatton is exciting for what he does and that ain't much. He dishes it out and takes it - but I don't have to because I am the president of the sport.
"I look at Hatton and I see scar tissue and fat. Ricky should not let his weight get up like it does. We all know how he will fight. It will be like taking candy from a baby for me and I will punish him."
