Unbeaten super lightweight prospect Maurice Hooker (21-0-2) is elated to be returning to the ring on November 19th against Darleys Perez (33-2-1) on the Sergey Kovalev-Andre Ward pay-per-view undercard. The card takes place at the T-Mobile Arena on the Las Vegas strip and will be distributed by HBO pay-per-view.

The 27-year-old Dallas resident believes it is his time to shine.

"I can't wait. It's time for me to sharpen my skills and show them off. I think this is a big step up. I'm going to be on HBO pay-per-view with everybody watching. Time for me to show off my skills," Hooker stated.

As for the main event, Hooker is backing his Roc Nation Sports stablemate Andre Ward to defeat the power punching Kovalev in one of the most anticipated fights of the year.

"I think Andre Ward is going to pull it off. I like Andre Ward. I think he can adjust to any fighter. He can time the fighters. He is very smart inside and outside of the ring. I just think he can handle his style and pull it off," Hooker told BoxingScene.com.

Kovalev vs. Ward takes place Saturday, Nov. 19, at T-Mobile Arena in Las Vegas, Nev. and will be produced and distributed live by HBO Pay-Per-View beginning at 9:00 p.m. ET/6:00 p.m. PT. "Pound for Pound" is presented by Main Events, Roc Nation Sports, Krusher Promotions and Andre Ward Promotions and sponsored by MGM Grand Hotel & Casino.
