Lucas Matthysse (26-0, 24KOs) will risk his undefeated record and the WBO Latino super lightweight crown against the only opponent he has yet to beat in his career, Mexican Rogelio "El Cachorro" Castaneda (24-15, 8KOs), taking place at Club Atletico Newell's Old Boys in Rosario, Santa Fe, Argentina on August 27. Castenada is known as the upset kid because of the numerous times that he defeated unbeaten prospects and rising contenders.

Matthysse and Castaneda fought in September 2008 in Texas and their fight ended without a decision in the third round due to a clash of heads after a strong two rounds. Castaneda was cut bad, but the decision was a controversial mistake of the part of the referee who saw a clash of heads but missed clear left hook by Lucas that opened a deep wound on the brow of Castaneda. Matthysse have a great opportunity to make things clear.
