Former world champion Marvin Sonsona (20-1-1, 15KOs) has returned to the gym after a long absence and has begun light training under Dodie Boy Agrabio, brother of veteran trainer Jhun Agrabio, who will take over after Sonsona gets back into shape.
He currently looks heavy and above the featherweight limit when he scored a majority decision in a ten round bout against Jonathan Arellano at the StubHub Center in Carson City, California on June 6 of last year - before he turned down lucrative offers from international promoter, manager and matchmaker Sampson Lewkowicz and Filipino partner Sammy Gello-ani and preferred to hang out with his friends in GenSan.
