Puerto Rico's Roman 'Rocky' Martinez is planning to move back to the lightweight division following his rematch, next Saturday night, with Mexico's Orlando Salido.

The fight takes place on September 12th at the MGM Grand in Las Vegas, as part of the undercard to the Floyd Mayweather Jr. vs. Andre Berto Showtime Pay-Per-View.

Martinez will defend the WBO super featherweight title that he captured in April after winning a twelve round decision over Salido in Puerto Rico.

Prior to that fight, Martinez had made a brief move to lightweight, but moved back down for the opportunity to face Salido and recover the WBO belt that he lost to Mikey Garcia last year.

The first fight was a war. The rematch is also expected to be a war. If a third fight is in order, Martinez is willing to do it but at 135-pounds.

"Truly it will be my last fight at 130 pounds," revealed Martinez to El Vocero. "It is not difficult (to make weight) because I am a fighter who is always in the gym. But it takes a little work. It's not like before. I understand that people wanted to see a rematch. And there is even talk of a third. I will have no problem with having a third one after this. But if he wants it, it would have to be at 135 pounds."

Martinez has a record of 29-2-2 and 17 knockouts. While Salido's record is 42-13-2 and 29 KOs.
