The former 130-pound champion of the WBO, Roman "Rocky" Martinez (28-2-2, 17 KOs) is open to put his lightweight campaign on hold, by moving down in weight to challenge the current WBO champion at super featherweight, Orlando "Siri" Salido - provided there is a good purse involved in the matchup.

Martinez decided to campaign at lightweight after losing his crown to Mikey Garcia. He would not stick around at 130 for too long. Martinez would move back up in weight to chase the vacant WBO crown at 135-pounds, which Terence Crawford vacated for a move up in weight to 140.

Martinez reappeared after a dormant year on Saturday night and stopped Herbet Quartey in two rounds as part of a function held at the San Juan Resort and Casino in Isla Verde.
