At the Leigh Indoor Sports Village in England, Martin Lindsay (16-0, 7 KOs) dominated Jamie Arthur (16-3, 4 KOs) over twelve rounds to keep the British featherweight title. The scores were 118-108, 119-108 and 117-110. Arthur went down twice in the second round and showed some heart by lasting the full distance. Lindsay was in full control and punished Arthur in several spots of action.
"I always felt in control. I'm glad I had 12 rounds, and now I know the I can step up as the fights come on," Lindsay said.
