Terry Marsh (26-0-1, 10KOs), a UK fan favorite and former IBF junior welterweight champion who retired undefeated in Dec. 1987, recently appeared on BBC Sport Radio and said that Manchester fighter Ricky Hatton (43-0, 31KOs) does not have the talent to beat a fighter on the level of a Floyd Mayweather, Jr (38-0, 24KOs).

He was critical of Hatton's level of oppossition, insinuating that Hatton fought blown-up lightweights, but did praise him for the career defining win over Kostya Tszyu in 2005.

Hatton challenges Floyd Mayweather, Jr. for the WBC welterweight title on Dec. 8 at the MGM Grand in Las Vegas, Nevada. HBO PPV will televise.
