in this match, its pretty easy to see who's the better fighter. whoever is confident enough on his own capability to sign a contract and fight, he is the better fighter. and whoever hesitates to do so definitely knows he has a questionable chances in winning.

Speed, power, footwork... what else do you want to see? Against JMM-lack of adjustment maybe, but cetainly not lack of skill. Whoa Pony! Don't get too serious now, it's just an opinion. Pac's speed and power can't be questioned, but don't mention footwork, which is a basic skill that he lacks. I can admit that Pac's unique style, combining good speed and heavy hands, is a pleasure to watch. But please, there's no real footwork to mention. This has not hindered Pac though, because he has abnormally quick hands and power that can overcome his lack of foot movement and other boxing skills. of course pac got speed. how do you think he can move inside and spring back quickly, throw haymakers from different angles and maintain his balance without any footwork.? footwork is not only akin to boxers.

And by the way, he did not lose that fight. Thanks for the update. Haven't seen that result anywhere in print though.

First, Pac's display of skills against Barrera amounted to raw speed and power, which did not "attest" to anything. Roach has all but agreed with that summary of Pac's performance. Both Roach and Pac were happy to see the same combo working beautifully against Barrera. Pac needed very little more than his excellent speed and left hand power. Pac did not reuqire any particularly impressive range of skills other that than limited approach. It was the recipe required for that night against that fighter. Nothing more. Fast forward to JMM and we see pac offering the same head movement and combos, without any variation all night long. That lack of adjustment/skill cost him the fight. I expect that Pac will show-up with something else in the rematch, otherwise the boxer JMM will decision the speedy and powrful Pac. If you do not see Pacman's speed and power as skill, then what does Barrera have?, What does JMM have?
