Former four division world champion Juan Manuel Marquez (55-7-1, 40KOs), 40-years-old, says promoters continue to approach him, despite his objections, regarding a fifth bout with Manny Pacquiao. A year ago, Marquez knocked Pacquiao out cold in the sixth round of their fourth meeting in Las Vegas.

Marquez will consider the possibility of retirement if he doesn't get a rematch with WBO welterweight champion Timothy Bradley, who decisioned the Mexican star in October - but Marquez believes he was robbed.

Pacquiao will return on April 12th at the MGM Grand in Las Vegas. Marquez has been named, along with Bradley and Ruslan Provodnikov, as possible opponents for the date.

"[The win over Pacquiao] is and always will be an unforgettable moment for me, for the fans. That is precisely why I think there is no point in a fifth fight although the promoters are pushing [for it]. I already did what I had to do by ending the fourth fight like that and that was the perfect ending. I want the people to keep the pride [of that win] and that feeling for life," Marquez concluded.
