WBO junior welterweight champion Juan Manuel Marquez (54-6-1, 39KOs) is fully focused on knocking Manny Pacquiao (54-4-2, 38KOs) out on December 8th at the MGM Grand in Las Vegas. According to Marquez, who believes he was robbed in three previous meetings, he wants to end this four fight series with a classic knockout. The Mexican champion claims he is training in the gym for a knockout victory and there is no thought process on getting a decision.
"[I'm] preparing to find a knockout. I can no longer think about getting a decision, but instead winning by knockout. I can do it, and close the series of fights with Pacquiao with a perfect finale....a series that is already a classic in boxing," Marquez said.
"In my career five times I got up from the canvas to show that I am the best. I'll look for the knockout with experience and intelligence. I think we know each other so well that both of us are going to want to do different things."
