Recognized lightweight champion Juan Manuel Marquez is still gunning for a piece of Manny Pacquiao. He fought Pacquiao to a controversial draw in 2004, and then lost a controversial split-decision to Pacquiao in March. Marquez believes that he won both of those fights, and so do a good number of experts. After their rematch, Marquez even flew out to the Philippines to bait Pacquiao to a third fight on live television.

Marquez won't let Pacquiao's December 6 bout with Oscar De La Hoya [who promotes Marquez], to distract him from his goal of a third fight with the Filipino superstar.

“Yes, I’m looking for that third fight - wherever. At 140, 147, 150 or 160 (pounds) I will fight him. If he wants to fight me at 147 I will fight him. No problem even if we fight in the Philippines,” Marquez told Filipino media outlet Philstar.

While Antonio Margarito, Erik Morales, Marco Antonio Barrera, Jorge Arce and several other Mexican fights are backing Pacquiao. Marquez was joined in Las Vegas by Ruben Olivarez, Carlos Zarate, Pipino Cuevas, Humberto Gonzalez, Ricardo Carmona, Rafael Marquez, Israel Vasquez, Oscar Larios and Daniel Zaragoza - all joined together in support of De La Hoya.
