The Montbleu Resort Casino & Spa in Stateline, Nevada was a house packed with supporters of the Marquez brothers, and saw both of them fight their way to victory in action packed performances.

Juan Manuel Marquez (45-3-1, 34KOs) pickd up a seven round TKO over Terdsak Jandeang (24-2, 15KOs). Marquez came out strong, almost stopping Jandeang in the second round when he dropped him to the canvas as a result of numerous hard punches.

Jandeang began to go for broke in the third round and started a rally. Both fighters were showing signs up bad facial swelling from the punches they were taking. Marquez began to take over in the sixth round by dropping the Thai fighter and began to break him down once Jandeang got back up.

In the seventh, Marquez would pour on the accurate power shots to batter his opponent and force the referee to stop the fight.

The chief support saw the younger and possibly more talented of the two brothers, IBF bantamweight champion Rafael Marquez (36-3, 32KOs) did not give his opponent a chance for revenge as he once again stopped Silence Mabuza (19-2, 15KOs) in the ninth round.

The two fighters began to exchange hard punches for a majority of the rounds. Marquez began to show that he was the stronger man in the sixth round as he started landing big power shots. By the eigth round, Mabuza's face was badly swollen and bleeding.

Marquez never let up and started to land frequent power punches with accurate force which led the corner of Mabuza to stop the fight after nine rounds.
