Marley: "Baldomir Would Love To Face Gatti"

Upon hearing the news that Arturo Gatti wants a piece of the newly crowned WBC welterweight champion Carlos Baldomir, the advisor of Baldomir, Mike Marley, told BoxingScene.com that his fighter would love to face Gatti.

"A lot of reps from many of the top fighters have been calling us after the fight, but style wise a fight with Gatti is great. Baldomir would love a fight with Gatti. There would be no dancing in the ring and both guys would fight it out to the end." said Marley

With respect to rematch with Judah, there is a possibility, but not likely to happen due to financial reasons.

"There is no rematch clause. I'm not saying we wouldnt face Judah again, but I don't think his promoter would pay for the fight. He said that he lost because of all those interviews and running around, Carlos did just as many interviews as he did. He looked past Carlos, all he talked about was Mayweather and that was his mistake, not the promoter."
