Mariana “Barbie” Juárez (37-7-3, 16KOs) is again undergoing rugged and gruelling training at the lofty Otomi Ceremonial Center.

This time, she's preparing for her crucial upcoming fight on October 12th against Thai Buakaew Onesongchaigym (6-1-1) at the Hard Rock Hotel in Vallarta, Mexico.

Juárez returned to the rigors of the Otomi Ceremonial Center, as it worked so very well for her, prior to her last fight in which she brilliantly defeated Japanese Riyo Togo in a rematch.

“I know that doing altitude training helps me a lot, I don’t know much about my rival, but she has a good record. She wants to beat me and grab my place to have a chance for the world title for herself, but I will defeat her!” Mariana promised.

Barbie simply MUST retain an iron grip on her number one ranking  in the WBC super flyweight division, to maintain a chance of fighting for the world title.

“You can’t be the best if you don’t train as the best. Here...I’ve found the ideal place to train. I will get to the fight in fantastic shape,” explained Mariana.
