Earlier tonight at Boardwalk Hall in Atlantic City, WBO welterweight champion and crowd pleaser Antonio Margarito stopped Sebastion Lujan in ten rounds to set up a very anticipated pay per view megabout with undefeated prospect Kermit "The Killer" Cintron.

Margarito started off slow, but showed his power down the stretch as he put a pounding on Lujan. In one of the more stranger occurrences to happen inside a boxing ring, Margarito beat Lujan to the head so bad that Lujan's right ear started to come off. I have never seen anything like that happen in a boxing fight. The ref Dave Fields stopped the fight in round ten in order to prevent Lujan from taking any further punishment and to prevent his right ear from coming off.

The pay per view bout against Cintron takes place on April 23, 2005 and will be promoted by ESPN.
