The latest word on the anticipated bout between WBO welterweight champ Antonio Margarito and unbeaten challenger Paul Williams, has the fight landing on the July 14 return of Arturo Gatti.

HBO would televise the double header, but the fights will not take place on the same card. Boxing scribe Dan Rafael reports that HBO will do a split-site card, with Gatti's return coming from Atlantic City, and Margarito-Williams originating from a west coast venue in either California or Las Vegas.

If the pairing with the Gatti card falls through, HBO may showcase Margarito-Williams with their same day coverage of the Wladimir Klitschko-Lamon Brewster rematch, which takes place on July 7 in Germany.
