An all-Mexican junior middleweight clash is still on the mind of promoter Gary Shaw. He would love to match his boxer Alfredo Angulo against Antonio Margarito with Staples Center in Los Angeles, California as the fight venue. The two similiar fighting styles would create fireworks very early.
Angulo returns on July 17 against former champion Joachim Alcine. After Alcine, Shaw sees a lot of big fight opportunities for Angulo.
"He is one of the most exciting fighters out there, today. And there are a lot of fights out there. He wants the [Kermit] Cintron fight. He would like to fight [Ricardo] Mayorga. He would fight anyone. I would love to see him and Margarito get it on in Staples, which would be a great fight. The winner of [Miguel] Cotto and Yuri Foreman. There are fights out there for him," Shaw said to BoxingScene.com's Luis Sandoval.
