According to several reports in Mexico, if the returning Antonio Margarito is able to grab a quick win over Roberto Garcia in the "Latin Fury 14" main event on May 8 in Aguascalientes, we shouldn't be surprised to see him land on the June 26 edition of Latin Fury, where Julio Cesar Chavez Jr. will face John Duddy in the main event at the Alomodome in San Antonio, Texas.
Top Rank is trying to get Margarito as much ring time as possible to get him in position as a potential Manny Pacquiao opponent in the fall. If Top Rank is not able to reach a deal for Pacquiao to fight the winner of Floyd Mayweather Jr-Shane Molsey, which takes place in May, then Margarito stands a good chance of fighting Pacquiao in November.
