The WBA's interim-champion at junior welterweight, Marcos Maidana, is training hard and looking good at his camp in Las Vegas. Maidana finally gets the fight he's been hunting for on December 11 at the MGM Grand, when he challenges Amir Khan for the full WBA title at 140-pounds.

Maidana sat down with BoxingScene.com's Ryan Burton and said that he doubts Khan is planning to stand there and fight. He expcts Khan to stay on the move for the entire fight.

"Khan is a good boxer so I'm training hard so I'm working to cut off the ring. He won't stand there and fight because that's not his style. He is going to run all night," Maidana said.

Maidana watched Khan's sole defeat, a 54-second knockout loss to Breidis Prescott in 2008. He doesn't take too much from the loss.

"I saw that fight. I think Prescott got the first punch in and Khan got caught cold," Maidana said.

Maidana expects to win, by knockout, and then he plans to entertain offers for future opponents in 2011.

"I'm going to win this fight and then I will listen to the offers. I'm going to go out and win this fight. I'm going to win this by knockout," Maidana said.
