On Saturday in Oldenburg, Germany, the cruiserweight champion of the WBO, Marco Huck, has promised to punish Brian Minto. The ex-heavyweight beat up German legend Axel Schulz in 2006. Schulz was coming out of retirement for the first time in seven years. The knockout loss sent him right back into retirement. Minto has since made a decision to move down to cruiserweight. Huck wants to get revenge for his friend.
"I will get revenge. I'm going to punish Minto for that," Huck was quoted by Golzka.
Huck does not underestimate his foe. He knows Minto is a very strong and dangerous challenger.
"Minto works very hard in the ring. I have to be careful because he's always dangerous," Huck said.
