Former three-division champion Marco Antonio Barrera is still undecided as to whether or not he will return to the ring. He is currently enjoying the summer with his family, but wants to make the decision prior to, or in, September. By September Barrera should know if he will retire for good or make one final run. He recently split from Golden Boy Promotions, where he was a partner, to stage shows under his own promotional company.
Barrera's brother Jorge told ESTO that Marco has received several big fight offers to get back in the ring. Frank Warren was recently trying to lure Barrera in the ring with WBO super featherweight champ Alex Arthur.
Barrera says that if he doesn't make a return before the end of the ring, he probably wont return at all. He wants to return by in November or December, with the fight taking place in Mexico if possible.
