The former 168-pound champion of the World Boxing Association, Manny Siaca III, will reappear on July 22 at the municipal gym Pedrin Zorrilla in Hato Rey and has his sights set on the 154 and 160 pound divisions, where Miguel Cotto and Felix Sturm reign.
"I'm losing weight because there are better opportunities. I talked to the doctors and I can make that weight. I'm coming down slowly and quiet. All we're doing scientifically. And we're preparing for the champions who are there. I go after the WBA belts. The WBA champions in those divisions are going to face the consequences," he said.
Siaca tiene expediente de 22-7 con 19 cloroformados y su último pleito fue en abril del pasado año cuando disputó el título crucero de la IBO perdiendo por nocáut técnico en tres asaltos en Australia con Danny Green. Siaca has 22-7 record with 19 chloroform and its latest lawsuit was in April last year when he played the IBO cruiserweight title losing by technical knockout in three rounds in Australia with Danny Green.
