It was officially announced by Top Rank at the post-fight press conference that a rematch between Erik Morales and Manny Pacquiao is still on for January 21, 2006.
Morales appears to have no interest in seeking a rematch with Zahir Raheem and will move back down to 130 pounds in order to meet Pacquiao. Top Rank further announced that Morales' rematch with Pacquiao will be a pay-per-view event.
