Joshua Clottey has size and strength on his side. WBO welterweight champion Manny Pacquiao is not worried. Pacquiao defends his title against Clottey on March 13 at Cowboys Stadium in Texas. Pacquiao told the Manila Bulletin that people doubted his strenght and power in the past, against opponents like Oscar De La Hoya, Ricky Hatton and Miguel Cotto. He plans to surprise the experts again by taking Clottey out.

"Clottey is big and strong. People were saying that I won’t be able to put Cotto down but you know what happened,” Pacquiao said.

Pacquiao will be very cautious in the fight. Clottey may weigh as much as 160-pounds or more by fight night and has a very strong chin. He watched some tapes of Clottey and sat ringside as Miguel Cotto barely escaped the Clottey fight with a win.

“[Clottey has a] great hook and a nice uppercut,” Pacquiao said.
