FILIPINO boxing hero Manny Pacquiao will be honored in San Francisco, according to Top Rank promoter Bob Arum.

In a telephone conversation with insidesports.ph, Standard Today and Viva Sports, Arum said the San Francisco Giants baseball team will do a Manny Pacquiao Day on April 21, during which he will throw out the first pitch, aside from various other activities.

Arum disclosed that they would also give out Pacquiao bobblehead dolls and are working on how to promote the fight with the San Francisco Giants organization.

Pacquiao is also scheduled to make a tour stop in New York after his return from England. He is scheduled to leave for Los Angeles on Feb. 24, two days after the christening of his daughter Queen Elizabeth and will fly to London, which will be the first stop of the promotional tour for the “Battle of the East and West,” in which he takes on International Boxing Organization light welterweight champion Ricky Hatton.

Arum said Pacquiao would also visit Manchester City, the hometown of Hatton.

Pacquiao is scheduled to leave for his hometown of General Santos City on Tuesday to attend classes at Notre Dame University, where he plans to finish his business management course before taking up law.
