Frank Maloney, the promoter of British/Commonwealth heavyweight champion David Price (14-0, 12KOs) has offered unbeaten Tyson Fury (19-0, 14KOs) 500,000 pounds to step in the ring with his boxer.
Maloney issued the challenge only minutes after Price destroyed Olympic gold medal winner Audley Harrison in less than 90 seconds of the first round at a packed Echo Arena in Liverpool.
"[Fury has] never seen that kind of money," Maloney said.
Fury is slated to be returning in December, and so is Price. Last year Price was the mandatory challenger to Fury, who vacated the British belt to avoid the fight. Although lately Fury has been calling for a fight with Price on the social networks. Maloney stated that Fury is running scared from the fight and needs to accept the challenge.
"He needs to get off the Twitter, stop Twittering and take this fight," Maloney said.
