Former junior welterweight champion Paulie Malignaggi has unloaded some verbal combinations at WBA champion Amir Khan and his trainer Freddie Roach. During a recent interview with BoxingScene.com, Roach made a bold prediction when he said Malignaggi will "not be able to last three rounds" when he faces Khan on May 15 at New York's Madison Square Garden.

"Knock me out in three? You and what army? You talk like that chump. You better bring guns, tanks, missiles, and heavy artillery. Everyone knows," Malignaggi said. "Paulie Malignaggi don't lay down for no one. So bring that artillery baby, because on May 15th this going to be World War 4."

Khan, during a recent interview, promised to batter Malignaggi into retirement. He said the beating Malignaggi is going to receive on May 15 will be so bad - the former champ will decide to retire afterwards. The Brooklyn-born fighter had some choice words for him too.

"Con's talking about destroying my career? He needs to get one first. On May 15th when the 12th round [is] over, he's going to wish this was a dream. Asking his Mum to pinch him, to make sure it was just a dream. Then he's going to wake up and realize it's real and his belt is around me," Malignaggi said.
