Rapper Eric B has joined 50 Cent as Rapper turned Boxing Businessman with the formation of his sanctioning body "World Championship Boxing" aka WCB.

The mission statement for the WCB on EricB.tv reads:

"World Championship Boxing Mission Statement

The World Championship Boxing (WCB) sanctioning body consists of a team that has worked in and around the sport of boxing for many years. Within those years, our team members have worked with every top fighter, manager, promoter and network, and have had legitimate hands on experience in bringing the very best in boxing competition and entertainment.

WCB recognizes there is a vast world out there; within that world, countless boxers fight their hearts out, but for varied reasons go under the radar of notoriety and simple acknowledgment. It’s our belief that recognizing true talent, drive and competitive spirit inevitably brings forth the very best fights. It’s that consciousness, we believe, that will ultimately bring forth the best recognition to not only the competitors, but to the sport as well.

United States Championship Boxing (USCB), along with our regional and international affiliates, follow the same path as well, ranking worthy contenders on a national and various regional levels here and abroad. It’s these ratings that assist in displaying the best up and coming talent. Fighters use these rankings as a springboard to the higher height of World title contention.

Taking heed that every pugilistic great has had to fight to get to the very top, along with the blood, sweat and tears needed to climb up to their celebrated perches, it was opportunity that played an intricate part in their ascension. It’s World Championship Boxing’s wealth of experience, true integrity and all out diligence that are the keys to carrying out the mission of providing a platform for all deserved fighters to showcase their talents."
