The man behind Fighter Elvis Promotion in Latvia is now other than former EU champion Elvis Mihailenko, who went 17-1-1 as a pro 2000 through 2005. Mihailenko beat the likes of Alejandro Lakatos, Giovanni Alvarez and Kai Kurzawa before illness and promotional difficulties lead to an early retirement. Today Elvis promotes heavyweight Mairis Briedis, who last weekend stopped Joszef Nagy, and is scheduled to fight on the Bigger is Better Tournament on Cyprus July 6.
